Who is the candidate?
A good candidate for body lift procedure is an individual who has loose sagging skin from aging, pregnancy, and weight loss. Body lift includes arm lift, thigh lift, and buttock lift. It aims to result to a shapely body contour with a smoother and tighter skin for both male and female. A patient may opt to do a sole procedure or a total body lift depending on the surgeon’s evaluation and the patient’s preference.
How long should I stay in Thailand for Body lift surgery?
You should stay in Thailand at least 14 days to complete a whole process. On your arrival day in Thailand, you should stay in your hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following day. If you require having a total body lift, you will be hospitalized for Approximately 6 nights. Post operative check up and stitches removal will be done 7 days after the surgery.
How is surgery performed?
The surgeon will remove the loose sagging skin on the target areas: arms, thighs, and buttock and then elevate and tighten up the remaining skin. Body lift can be done conjunction with liposuction for a more defined figure.
Will anesthesia be used?
Yes, body lift will be done under General Anesthesia.
What is the post-surgical care?
Body lift surgery is generally well tolerated. Following your surgery, it is advisable to rest as much as possible and avoid strenuous activities which can affect the scar in the first 4 weeks.
How will the scar looks?
While scars of thigh lift are hidden in the groin crease, scars of arm lift are hidden around inner arm. The incision of buttock lift is placed at the buttock crease, and hence this leaves a relatively unnoticeable scar at the buttock crease.
What are the possible risks and complications?
The position of the scar depends on the location of the incision. Scars are usually hidden in hair lines and gradually fade, although they will never disappear completely. They will be not noticeable.
